    The Cologne Cathedral (officially: High Cathedral of St. Peter and Mary) is one of the most famous landmarks in Germany and a masterpiece of Gothic architecture.

  • Cologne Chocolate Museum

    he museum was founded in 1993 by Hans Imhoff, a former chocolate manufacturer. It is located directly on the Rheinauhafen, offering beautiful views of the Rhine River.

    Inside, you can learn all about:

    • the history and origins of the cocoa bean,

    • the production process of chocolate – from bean to bar,

    • and of course, you can taste some chocolate

    One of the main highlights is the chocolate fountain, where fresh chocolate flows and you can dip wafers into it.

  • Cologne Mustard Museum

    The museum is located in the Rheinauhafen area, just a short walk from the Chocolate Museum. It was founded by the Berghofer family, who also run the famous Historic Mustard Mill in Monschau.

    At the museum, you’ll learn about:

    • how mustard has been made for centuries,

    • the ingredients and traditional milling process,

    • and why handcrafted mustard is healthier and more flavorful than industrially produced mustard.

    During a guided tour, you can watch the old millstones in action and sample different varieties — from mild to very spicy!
